I've warned dh that any suggestion he watch football on Wimbledon finals Sunday on the tv ( we only have the one) means he buys me one for the bedroom.

When the world cup was on, I watched the Rafa / Delpo match in dd1s room, but her tv is broken. And I go in her room only when strictly necessary these days.

I've just seen that Djok is playing in Mallorca. I bet Uncle Toni is really pleased . I think he might just be playing doubles though.

I like Rafa’s Wimbledon kit - hope to get to see him wearing it - it seems like ages since we saw him in white (he’s usually so bright these days!)

The Voice of Reason, Kygrios is still down to play Mallorca- maybe he will be Djok's doubles partner. They get on so well .

The grass season is a bit odd in a way- it feels like a long time since we have seen any of them play on gras- and a lot of the younger players really don't have much of 'past' on the surface. It will be interesting to see both how they do- and how the 'older' players do, when they come up against players they might not have played much on grass before.

Federer, in particular, has been finding that in his absence, the younger players have been getting a lot better.

Yes it does seem a long time since anyone played on grass - most of the youngsters seem to be good on clay/hard courts - playing on grass can be a bit confusing at first!

If I were Rafa I’d be spending a lot of time on my boat! Djok and Nick - what a combination!

Rublev is doing well in Halle- good win over Jordan Thompson, who is not bad on grass at all.

ooh- I have been score watching on the school run- Felix AA (who has not had the best season since hooking up with Uncle Toni -is he still with him, or was it just a clay thing?) anyway- he lost the first set against Fed- but won the second, and was 3-0 up last I saw, in the the 3rd.
First time they have played each other I think- that would be a big upset- and a great result for Felix.
