Rylan on Radio 2 etc

I know this is a TV thread but I'm really missing Rylan on Radio 2 on Sat pm's. He has been missing from the week before Eurovision now. Do you know if he is ill or with maybe his mum?

I miss him too, I love his radio show. I don't know if he's ill but think he's due back in July.

I thought they said he was ill during Eurovision, and slimy Vernon is in again next Sat, so maybe Rylans illness crossed over with an already arranged break.. hope so anyway, otherwise thats a long illness!

I miss Rylan. Vernon is bloody hopeless. Why couldn't Patrick Kielty take over from Rylan?

I know he had been trolled so taken a break from social media, hope he is not depressed or similar - well I hope he is not ill whatever is wrong - I like him, poor thing.

He's been away for a while now. Oti stood in for him this week and last week and OJ Borg stood him for him a while back. I hope Rylan and his mum, who has been ill, are both okay.

On a lighter note, OJ Borg made a major blooper when he interviewed Phil Wang during his slot, which made listeners gasp and snigger.

With a name like P Wang, perhaps this is understandable....

Ahh I LOVE Rylan and radio 2 on Saturdays. It's bliss and I spend all day pottering in the kitchen listening to Claudia who wasn't on, then Gambo, the Rylan followed by Liza Tarbuck, who is my fave. She's bonkers.

Missing rylan and I hope he is okay and as a pp said, nit suffering with depression or anything. Hopefully just having a break.

Me too, Vernon just said he is back next week so it's going into July without Rylan. I hope he is ok.

Reports this evening that he's split from his husband. No idea if it's true, but whatever is going on, I hope both he and Dan are ok.

I am really missing Rylan! I love him. I know he's Marmite but I like Marmite. He's obviously having some marital issues that have impacted on him. Hope to see him back soon.

I heard on a gossipy podcast that R's husband has left him for a couple that they met on Grindr - to be part of a thrupple. I love R he can come and live here with me.

When OJ sat in for Rylan, he asked Phil Wang which is Chinese, whether it meant yellow because the group "Wang Chung" means "yellow bell" in Chinese. Phil said no, it means king. OJ then replied, "Oh, so is Wang "king"?" then realised what he walked into.

It's weird but because I know Rylan is ok and will be back I'm enjoying Vernon's standin show more.
