I’ve literally binged the entire season yesterday and today.

I’ve enjoyed it and I really hope a second season is picked up and not cancelled like lots of other Netflix series.

I think the hybrids are really cute and it’s such a shame that people have reacted like they have

I’ve watched 2 episodes and was a bit bored. Should I stick with it? Is there an actual plot or is the boy just going wander around from place to place?

Hi is this suitable for a 9 and 11 year old?

Also wondering whether 9 years is too young have been fast forwarding a few bits but DD is glued to it!

I did carry on watching it and it was better after episode 3.

It’s not suitable for kids! There isn’t anything too bad shown on screen, but the plot turns pretty gruesome by the end.

I agree. It looks like it’s aimed at children but it really isn’t

Though I suppose it could go over the heads of the younger ones to some extent. They won’t realise that the last men are killing the hybrids or experimenting on them, but older ones who follow the plot will

I've tried it, but didn't really get it.

It will be tough to get a second season IMO. Child actors age so fast, and this was filmed in New Zealand. I would think covid restrictions there would make it tough filming a second season there anytime soon. There would need to be a time jump between them. Tough as season one ended on a cliffhanger.

Unless they are already filming season two, but I couldn't find anything about whether it's been renewed online.

Yes just watched a bit more and agree not really suitable for younger than 11 years old IMO.
