Wasn't expecting that, just a fly on the wall thing. They found out their regular postman was celebrating his 40th anniversary and surprised him with a night in a £25k a night suite, they looked so happy, and the staff so pleased to do it. Giving what you have can be such a pleasure. During lockdown they have vouchers to many keyworkers too

Wonder if they'd do that without the cameras rolling ... Grin

I was kind of thinking this...

But my god £25,000 a night!!!! Unbelievable!

But that new managing director or whatever she's called saying 'my old boss knew when to spank me and whip me!' 🤔

That manager just dropped that ceramic/glass thing when they were visiting the manufacturers and they all just laughed!!

purpleme12 · 14/06/2021 22:11

This is the best hotel yet
But £7,500 for a bottle of wine 😳

LadyEloise · 05/07/2021 15:13

Real escapism.

Agree. I would expect Jesus to have turned my water into wine at that price!

That's exactly what I thought. Great for then though. They got about 15 minutes of tv for £25k.

I always think a single night in a suite like that barely scratches the surface. I'd want to be there at least a week to really get to grips with all the luxury and come to terms with what I'd won. Grin
