Casualty - weird dramatic music

Haven't watched Casualty for years, has it had the weird dramatic music for long? It's just so unessesary.

I've watched it for years and years
It did not used to have the weird 'music' in (if you can call it that)
It's my favourite programme but why on earth did they decide to add this in??!
It's been it in for a while to be fair now but it's in some episodes more than others
I think it actually distracts from the scene more than adding to it!
