I've always been curious about what happens after the cameras stop rolling! Anyone got a tale to tell? :)

No but I was on Pointless and it was fab.

I read an article by someone who'd been on it if that counts

They were approached to pitch rather than applied to go on it.

They pitch to the producers as a rehearsal on the day.

Then the real pitch can last 2 hours. Lots of discussion between the Dragons, so when Peter says "I'm in if Deborah wants to go 50-50" it doesn't come out of the blue like I'd thought!

I feel a bit sorry for Tooka - people only accept his offer if they're desperate

Does anyone know what the eco cleaning sprays were called tonight? They seemed more expensive than smol but wanted to investigate?

Sorry for thread derail. I have clearly never been in the den. I did get a tear in my eye tonight and whooped for the woman with the suction feeding plates business.

My old boss was on it.
She was quite an acute businesswoman but looked and sounded an absolute tit on there. She said afterwards it was horrific. The prep and filming was days on end for a 4 minute clip tearing her idea to pieces. She eventually did do what she had pitched but from investment from elsewhere.

The cleaning products were called Home Stuff. I looked them up and may buy!

Interesting to hear the pitches are so long. I'd always imagined they were just as we see them - very naive of me

I'd love to know just how involved the Dragons really are, once they are away from the cameras!

Thanks @MyBeloved homethings is the name. It is not as good value as smol and I'm really happy with the bathroom cleaner from there so will stick to that. I just found it really strange how they were so enthused by the products when there is already a bit of a market for them.
I've never noticed tension between the women 😳.
