Bernice's reappearance isn't adding anything positive to the shite that is Emmerdale at the moment. The scene with Layla not waiting for an explanation is the kind of thing that's repeated time and time again. That, and the the continual overhearing of stuff, is really annoying.

I don't know if it's rubbish writing or Covid regulations, but they seem to be doing a big block involving certain characters, then you don't see them again for ages. By which time you've probably forgotten the ridiculous storyline that they were involved in anyway!
