The way that scene was photographed with her standing forlornly outside the cottage, bouquet in hand, all muted, ghostly colours, reminded me of Miss Havisham.

I agree that Jacob's proposal was beyond ridiculous. I wasn't even aware that he and Leanna were a proper couple anyway.
At least dreary Luke has gone, but it gives Wendy something else to weep and wring her hands over.

Almost every character and storyline is/are beyond reality and quite literally farcical but one man I have always loved in Emmer is our Bob.

Bob actor actually appeared several years before as a security guard for a building site the tates were working at and the villagers protested. I think Betty got injured.

They did Jane. Soaps went very weird and started trying to be on every single day of the week apart from Saturday. I didn’t like it.

Yep I remember six days a week, even now it's still six episodes a week and it takes its toll on the storylines.

I’d be happy to go back to 3 episodes a week. I don’t like Corrie having 2 half hour episodes with a gap between.

I'd rather have 3 quality episodes per week than 6 of the nonsense we get nowadays. I've never understood why the 2 episodes on a Thursday can't just be an hour long one instead.
