Wasn't Mackenzie supposed to be around 9 years old when Moira left at 18 years old? Moira has just turned 50 hasn't she? Which puts Mackenzie at 40ish. He's really hard to put an age on.

The actor who plays Mackenzie is 29. There is A LOT of talk online about the age gap between Moira and Mackenzie.

No way is he 40 and Mandy called him a boy. Bernice said Nicola was a cougar but she's only 43!

It's ridiculous - just like Meena is too young to be Manpreet's sister.

Why are writers/producers so against having long term couples in soaps?

I must be in the minority as I like Mackenzie, but I think he needs a proper storyline.

Meena is awful. Awful actress and awful character.

I will be sad to see the demise of Jimmy and his Nico. They have become an institution.

I think I need to stop saying negative things haha, I just said that Vic is lovely but behaves like someone much much older, so not convincing that Luke is in love with her.
But I do feel for her. That ex of hers wasn't good for her and didn't Aaron use her as a beard at one point. They need to find her someone that gets her feeling young again.

She's not a femme fatale destined for dramatic love affairs. She's not anywhere near old enough to become an Edna Birch type, nor a Pearl type. Eventually maybe she'll give up on men and take over the pub [house is paid for, must have savings], Home Farm and probably the world.

Yep, it’s ridiculous. The youngest he could be is about 37. Why not just cast an older actor?

The same goes for Meena, who was apparently forever stealing Manpreet’s Walkman or some such tosh, but who looks younger than her daughter.

She could be the new Kathy. Liked by everyone, fancied by men, but forever either picking the wrong ones or being hit by tragedy. Let’s face it, she’s already nearly there.

Kathy was so tragic. I'd hate to see Victoria go down the same path.

I don't like Meena. Regardless of the fact she is THE WORST ACTOR it appears the writers are intent on turning her into some sort of psycho bunny boiler that is going to not only ruin Manpreet's life but everyone else as well.

And I am really feeling for Nicola. She's been Carl's mum for 6 years and Jimmy and Juliet are treating her like she's absolutely nothing to Carl. Heartbreaking 😥

Meena makes no sense as a character. What is her motive for wanting to meddle so much in manpreets life? Unless they are going to do some dramatic reveal and say it’s all revenge for something it makes no sense.

Yes totally agree about Nicola. Not only has she been Carl’s mum, she is also being elliots mum and it must be in her mind that if Jimmy leaves then where does Elliot go? Does he stay with her as her son or will Jimmy take him from her?

She's doing everything she can to get Manpreet back with Charles even though neither of them has shown much interest in this happening. There's no simmering chemistry or knowing looks exchanged between them. As if having one nutty nurse in the village isn't enough, we've got another one.

Since when did Aaron and kayak boy become inseparable? Are they actually an item as he never seems to be away from The Mill. Half of the time I can't tell if it's kayak man or Luke as they look pretty much the same to me.
