A few pages late here - but when Asha and Nina first got together Asha mentioned how her half sister Amber had once been with a girl. I remember being shocked that the writers had suddenly remembered Amber existed!

Tyrone didn't do anything particularly bad when saying Ruby was his and not fizz's. He only said it as she stopped him seeing either of them. Fizz is ridiculous.

Yes fizz is definitely out of order trying to keep the girls from him. She did need reminding that she wasn’t actually Ruby’s parent so has no legal right to stop anyone seeing her.

I watched one of the actress who plays Alina's vlogs on YouTube once... Omg. Most Boring video ever! Incredibly, she actually says herself that she has NO sense of humour!

Ty was in the wrong but why is he letting Fizz have 100% control over both kids? He has just as much right take Ruby and then do the “naw naw you not seeing Ruby” back.

But Alina will glue ruby's eyes too, the gurls must remain with Fizz. Unless ruby's mum turns up and takes her.

If only she’d had the sense to glue hawp’s mouth shut.

When Fizz is telling Evelyn how dangerous Alina is and Evelyn says Alina? What's she going to do, bore her to death?

And that giant poster of them, dear God! - Alina seems to have taken leave of her senses entirely! Even Tyrone looks appalled. He's agonising about the gurls and Alina suggests a lavender bath bomb, clicking her fingers as if everything is now sorted! Who the actual fuck writes this?

All this instant access to lawyers too! Decide you need a lawyer and bingo there's one in the pub or cafe or lurking in the street...

Thank you for posting this! I was convinced I remembered Asha mentioning her sister sometime recently but I couldn’t remember the context or who she was talking to when she said it so I didn’t bother posting it on here. I’m glad someone else remembered it properly!

I love Bernie too - actress is great - was so good in Casualty too. A proper rounded warts and all character.
The complete opposite to Alina - a one dimensional Barbie, trotting around. That's the problem with Corrie - the few that can act (Abi, Evelyn, Roy, Bernie) make the rest look so woeful. How much Toad in the Hole can Ty stomach? Well, looking at the poster (hardly Cruise and McGillis in the Top Gun days is it?) not much more.
Fizz is daft and over the top, but that's her all over.
All these women, and now Bernie having a bit of Dev's kebab! Must be the chilli sauce!

When we we see Peter? I fret about Peter. In bed, the blanket of doom swapped for a hospital gown, tubes everywhere, new jigsaw waiting near the water jug, Carla's fuzzy felt eyebrows raised in relief and concern, his fake tan a couple of notches lighter...then, it's a miracle! He's better. Will happen far too quickly.
Who will buy the Rovers?
Perhaps Sean, with all his new found dosh from catliner (really?)

I'd like Evelyn to buy the Rovers, and she'd be regularly doing the Northern version of "Get out of my pub!"

And Cerberus can lounge regally on the sofa in the back room or hover round the bar scrounging crisps (not that Evelyn would let him scrounge )

Did he have to give Terry Duckworth money? I love Terry, he should come and steal Alina. Alina has inherited Samantha's pyjamas from the classic corrie. I hope she doesn't return, she was awful.

I also noticed the pyjamas!! Maybe it’s a subliminal clue that Alina will turn into a psycho bitch overnight…

I did enjoy Emma’s traumatised face at the giant photo. Her face said what I felt Evelyn was on cracking form too.

Forgive me if I’ve missed it, but what exactly does Daisy have to do with Double Glammy? If Sean recruited her, surely she should want to recruit Carol in her own right so that she gets the commission? Won’t she have to pay Sean, as her ‘upline’, a percentage of it anyway? She seems gleeful at the prospect of Sean getting in deeper, but surely she needs her recruits to buy more stock, not her recruiter?

Re: Tyrone, Terry Duckworth and the house - Tyrone and Molly were going to buy the house from Jack and Vera when they were planning to retire, but Vera pegged it before they could. Terry tried to convince Jack to hold on to the house, but he decided he was going to sell to Tyrone and Molly anyway.

When Jack died, he left his money to Tyrone, not Terry. The last time Terry turned up, he used Tommy to guilt Tyrone into giving him a chunk of it for a business deal - then promptly did a runner.

They seem to have confused themselves. A few months ago Sean was making no money on it and trying to get out of his contract but couldn’t. Gemma was in the same boat, she was sean’s recruit so he was haranguing her for money she wasnt making. Now they’ve somehow turned it around and he has recruited daisy who must be making money but yet Sean is still trying to put carol off joining. Why would he recruit daisy but not want carol? It makes no sense. He gets more money the more people he recruits.

I always thought that Sean didn't want Carol to join as he knows it's a con and doesn't want her to lose money, but I'm not sure that made sense given the scenes last night. Unless he knows he's not going to be able to put her off so is trying to help her as much as he can given she's going to join anyway now? I'm very confused

I think Carol is definitely supposed to be Sean’s ‘conscience’ - he knows deep down it’s not the licence to print money it’s painted as, and he’s worried Carol could end up homeless again if she pours her money into it. It’s how Daisy fits in that I don’t understand; is Carol meant to be her recruit or Sean’s? And why was she asking him about ‘their’ stock?

I don’t understand daisys part either. Daisy is shrewd as hell, there is no way she is being conned- so is she actually making money? It certainly sounded like she is happy with it and doing well. And if so then surely she will help carol make money? As it benefits her too.

I think Sean doesn't want Carole to join because he knows it's all a con. They met when they were both homeless didn't they? So presumably he won't want her to end up back there again as he'd feel responsible. And as annoying as he is he's a "good guy"

Daisy on the other hand is a ruthless bitch. She also knows it's a scam but doesn't care who she hurts along the way. Plus she doesn't have that history with Carole so doesn't give a fuck if she ends up back in debt and homeless.

I quite like Bernie and Dev together, it might actually work well.

That portrait is just awful, how Fiz didn't burst out laughing when she saw it is beyond me, what was Alina thinking, it's bloody horrible.
