Offspring (Aussie series on Netflix) obsessed!

Found this series ten days ago and am now half way through Series 6 (in addition to PT job and PT teenage child) - I am OBSESSED. Having dreams about the cast. Fantasising about Patrick. Huge crush on Zara and Billie. Crying over every death and drama. Shouting at the TV. I've now invested over 50 hours in it. And am deeply ashamed. And have no one to discuss it with
Anyone else? Please?!!

I watched that last year & loved how Nina had the conversations & played out drama all in her head in the moment. It was so quirky & funny, totally suits my SOH,...a kind of exaggerated alternative reality. I'd LOL & I don't often do that at TV. The family characters have such different personalities, all so well developed & the love & caring so close to surface under all the arguing & angst. Hilarious
yet at times it was so very real & sad. But def one of the best I've seen.

Started it during Lockdown 1 and binged it for weeks. I still miss it 😢

I watched it a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. I felt so sad when I got to the end. I could probably go back and watch the whole thing again, now, as I've forgotten so much of it.
I loved all the characters but it was the houses I absolutely loved, too! Somewhere on my phone I've got a photograph of a floor lamp from one of Nina's homes that I tried and failed to find online.

Loved it. My one objection is how when Nina delivers a baby she pauses and gazes at the baby before handing it over to the mother.

Interesting you say that @StartupRepair because I thought that was a really nice thing she did - almost like she's wishing each and every baby good luck and in her head sees each one in its own little future tableau. Almost like she's a conduit between womb and mother. I do think I overthink things too much though!!

But yes I love their houses too, and the clothes!

I love offspring it's so bonkers even the titles are mad. But it is very rare where I find each character loveable in their own way

I loved it and binged all the way through it. I love Nina’s house, I love her clothes, I just loved it all the way through and was really sad when I’d finished it!

I binged it during lockdown one. Nearly broke my own heart over Billie and Mick 😭😭😭 they’re all so fab.

Am I wrong that I wasn’t that bothered over what happened to Patrick, though? it was never going to work!

So wrong!! They were soul mates. OK they would have fought (a lot), but they adored each other.

It was a relief that he still kept appearing for a while though 🤭😳

He was a moody teenager! Maybe if he’d have grown up a bit and stopped sulking...

I think fatherhood would have done that
