I know. But having been the subject of serious abuse (including attempted murder) by an ex partner, I really don't want to watch it for entertainment.

I don't know if enjoyed is the right word for today's episode but I thought it was very good. GPs are well placed to spot signs of domestic abuse and I hope if anyone who is experiencing it watched today's they were able to see that it is wrong and there is help available for them. Having said that I do prefer the more light weight episodes in the main

That was a lot to pack in over 20 minutes but there were lots of clues. I think it's one of those educational storylines - explaining coercive control because not everyone would know what it is or that it's unlawful now. But something jarred with me. Not sure why. Maybe it was just too hard to watch.
