Just noticed the old thread was nearly full.

OP posts:

Stella quiteGrin.

He's served his purpose??
What a delightful woman.

Raahh · 23/09/2021 14:12

Looks like the 'Thursday cliffhanger' was the right call then!

StellaAndCrow · 23/09/2021 14:13

This is the first time I've seen it for ages, and I've got no idea what's going on, but I'm not sure that makes any difference . . .

What's Sid doing telling his patients to stay and talk to the police ?(rhetorical question)

StellaAndCrow · 23/09/2021 14:15

Ugh do they put Jason Manford on straight afterwards to make sure we turn off the TV and go back to whatever we're supposed to be doing?!

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 23/09/2021 22:15

Did anyone else think that Marvin/Grantley Budgeon had a bit of a look of Prince Harry with the ginger beard?

Also - why have they shunted him off to look for his daughter? Have they got all the evidence they need to get Rob off the hook? Or are we being set up for an Emma/Valerie road trip in the camper van to get him back to give evidence in court?

Willowkins · 24/09/2021 00:09

Actually, The Mill looks a lot like my GP surgery at the moment - no one has had an actual appointment to see a GP in months. Who knew Doctors was prophetic? All the weird weather is probably to do with climate change.

Raahh · 24/09/2021 07:37

Ithink A road trip inthe Camper van, for an Alice in wonderland sequel, is a great idea Grin.

I did wonder what would happen about any future statements/trials, if the key witness wasn't availableHmm.

Raahh · 24/09/2021 07:40

Actually- I do have an appointment at my GP surgery tomorrow (a Saturday) - but it's for my flu jab (I was meant to go the pharmacy and got the wrong date Blush). It will take seconds. Won't even need to sit down. Grin.

Binglebong · 24/09/2021 16:52

I don't think they will go for an assault conviction, just gross misconduct. Marvin would be seen as too unreliable a witness for court but a statement could be enough for something internal.

LIZS · 27/09/2021 13:58

Is the mum setting daughter up?

LIZS · 27/09/2021 13:59

Should there not be another police officer in the interview room?

LIZS · 27/09/2021 14:02

Has bf nicked it?

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:10

I lost this thread- and then missed the beginning because I had to go out , so am catching up late.

Rob didn;t seem too happy about the news Harriet was to blame.

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:14

I agree that Harriet probably wouldn't be on her own for an interview.

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:18

Yes, but you lied, and made out Rob pushed him Harriet.

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:22

I hope Rob believes Harriet was a bad'un. He seemed a bit sucked in by her.

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:25

The BF nicked the watch?

Raahh · 27/09/2021 14:30

So Rob still can't get go back to work??
He will carry on being horrible to Gobby then Sad
Bloody Harriet. Angry

Binglebong · 27/09/2021 17:40

He has blackouts. He really isn't fit to go back to work.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 27/09/2021 20:43

I'm glad Karen had left the garage before Rob threw the sellotape/masking tape, he threw it with some force. If she had have been there it would have really hurt. I have to say it felt a tad anti climactic, Harriet's confession.

Raahh · 27/09/2021 21:18

Blast from the past of Silent Witness (rubbish these days, but I still watch it)- Danielle Henry who played Mandy the nurse and Freya's gf, is in it.

Looks exactly the same, even though it was years ago she was in Doctors Grin.

Raahh · 28/09/2021 13:47

Interesting start.

But can we please get onto the Rob stuff?

LIZS · 28/09/2021 13:47

A socially distanced date?

FuzzyPuffling · 28/09/2021 13:48

Afternoon all. I'm actually watching today - it's raining!

FuzzyPuffling · 28/09/2021 13:48

That bloke is splendidly wooden.
