Yes- after the last few weeks, it's odd that suddenly it's not Al she confided it, and told she was leaving.

So the Rob thing - is this supposed to be an emotional affair? Not that I have ever come across one except on Mumsnet - are the writers trawling MN for new plots now? I still think this storyline is going to turn out to be a brain problem of some kind - one of many cliffhangers they're going to tease us with over the Summer.

The whole rob thing is odd. I'd missed a week and wondered if I'd missed something happening, but no, they have decided to take a long serving, decent character and give them a personality transplant overnight. It's decidedly weird.

As for Valerie, the actress is still posting set photos on social media so I don't think it's a permanent departure.

Surely Val would have wanted a leaving party if she really was?

Rob is behaving dreadfully. I know Gobby can be annoying but she doesn't deserve this.

Rob is being proper nasty - I can't believe it! Everyone in Doctors managed to leave without giving adequate notice, it really grinds my gears!
