I have watched 1.5 of the series, has anyone watched it all? Is it worth going on with it? I'm finding it a bit mawkish and annoying. Also wholy unrealistic. Does it get better or worse as you go on?

I watched the 1st episode and hated it, came back to it to give it a second chance (although same with Schitts Creek). I've got into it a bit and now just watching because I've got into the routine of watching it and I have invested time in it, so yes, I have watched the full series.

To be honest every time that bloody background guitar starts up I feel like throwing the TV out of the window. The storylines are very formulaic. One of them has a crisis which stops the other one from attending something important. Someone goes through something that the parents went through similarly back in the day. It gets a bit more interesting when new characters make an appearance but it falls quickly back to repetition.

I don't think you'd miss much if you stopped watching it.

It's my favourite thing! I live it and don't want it to end. I always liked things like The Wonder Years and Party of Five whilst growing up though. The final series is set now in the pandemic, so that is quite strange and emotional in itself.
