just that really. Any good tv recommendations appreciated - have access to netflix, and prime.

Love everything from married at first sight to line of duty and this is us, so not fussy.

but feel like I’ve watched everything now so want some inspiration.

thanks

The Good Wife. Really entertaining legal drama with a great ensemble cast.

farmerpalmer · 09/05/2021 09:34

To the lake (Russian)
The barrier (Spanish)
3% (Brazilian)
Both on Netflix

Starisnotanumber · 09/05/2021 09:57

Anything you missed first time round from this lot.
The Sopranos
The West Wing.
The Bridge(it's the one on BBC.iplayer not the one on Netflix)
Ashes to Ashes
Peaky Blinders
The Wire
All really worth a rewatch I wish I hadn't seen them already because I know what's coming but all excellent

The Good Wife is excellent.

The Boys (Amazon Prime) also excellent.

Apple Tree Yard
The Replacement both gripping mini thrillers.

iklboo · 09/05/2021 16:13

Fargo
Killing Eve
The Wire
The Sopranos
The Shield
Boardwalk Empire

TheWeeDonkey · 09/05/2021 16:28

Mare of Easttown on Sky Atlantic
Top of the Lake on Netflix
The Shield on Amazon Prime

AbsolutelyPatsy · 09/05/2021 17:10

I loved Fargo, 3 series on netflix, season 4 starting on channel 4 tonight.

FleetwoodRaincoat · 09/05/2021 17:40

Someone recommended to me yesterday a BBC Series from 2011 called The Shadow Line, which is also about police corruption. Looks as if it could be excellent - with Christopher Eccleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Rea, Lesley Sharp ... Available on Amazon or Britbox

FleetwoodRaincoat · 09/05/2021 17:44

Also, La Mante (Walter Presents I think) about a female serial killer.
Fear by the Lake series (French), can't remember all the titles
Recent ones - Traces, Years and Years, It's a Sin.

MojoJojo71 · 09/05/2021 19:12

Definitely agree with The Bridge, one of my favourite series ever to watch.

I’ve tried The killing and Spiral but they just didn’t grab me.

Happy Valley was great, not what I was expecting at all

I’ve just finished watching Big Sky on Disney+ if you have it, it was recommended by someone I work with and I really enjoyed it, definitely not for kids!

Mxflamingnoravera · 09/05/2021 21:19

Woohoo! Thanks for the tip re Fargo! I can't wait.

TheWeeDonkey · 09/05/2021 21:42

I enjoyed The Tunnel on Sky but it is pretty gruesome, not one for bingeing on

StarFriend · 09/05/2021 21:47

The Americans
The Bureau

Both brilliant

Confusedaboutlots · 09/05/2021 21:48

thank you for all the recommendations 😌

Money Heist part one on Netflix is gripping (it gets stupid after that)
