Wimbledon finished yesterday ! The Olympics start on the 23rd July , but not sure of that will mess up the tv schedules or not due to the time difference.

Next years World Cup is being held in November and December! That will mess up Christmas programmes :)

I do like option of choosing when to watch rather than having get behind a week first. Wonder if carry on with top programs as perk of the hub

Yes I think it is pretty realistic. It's tough to watch.

My son had a breakdown recently and it looked a lot like what Isaac is going through. I worry about what the future will be like for him.

As someone said ages ago, do we care about Issac , he’s not a character we know and love

I'm fortunate to never have experienced schizophrenia close up, but I'm struggling to understand Shiree's refusal to get professional help for him, is it common to feel as his mum she can 'fix' him I wonder?

Having had the experience of a close relative having a psychotic episode, the last thing I felt was that I could fix it. Just wanted someone professional to step in and take charge to keep them safe

Well I know with my son (not schizophrenia but MH issues) we’ve had involvement with lots of different professionals and not all of them are interested in the person in front of them and can cause real problems. We’ve had some absolutely fantastic support too but it’s sheer luck of the draw. It’s very scary because you don’t know who is going to walk through the door and it’s very hard to challenge official advice/recommendations that you know is wrong for your child without being considered obstructive and once they have decided you are you get the walls put up, you’re kept out of the loop, they change how they talk to you and what they let you know, you lose control of the process wrt your child and you essentially have to go along with everything they say. From sheree’s perspective she is probably panicking that once she asks for help she loses control of what happens to Isaac.

I think his mum knows a black man he’s more likely treated harshly by the system. It’s dreadful think have get someone sectioned and he’s done this at least twice before. Though her ringing his work sick for him is particular hopeless given he’s not going be better in 7 days. Then what?

He gave Lilly £20 and told her to go and buy sweets and then when it was time to go to back to school she should go there and he would meet her there. He told her not to go back to the house where Ruby was.

@Akire - I think the implication was Isaac was trying to get the kids away from Ruby although it was unclear what he was going to do to Ruby after that (although there's another maternity leave looming there - not a spoiler btw)

He clearly thinks the kids aren’t safe with Ruby as he has decided she is covering up her dads involvement in Paul’s death.

Shiree has a tendency to really overact, come to think of it so do Isaac, Patrick and nana Highway.
