So we now have gray as a triple murderer 🙀🙀🙀

Surely soon he will be found out ......

I do feel for woman in Chantelle’s situation. EE handled ee death
And murder very wrongly 😢

So will Linda keep Max’s baby. Assume it is def his - why can’t they make happy storyline for this family

Bobbys dating - will they find out he killed his sister - and he looks so young so not sure how the lady he is dating thinks he owns his business

Will Ben and callum get married

Will Bailey be found safe / didn’t anyone think of looking in tubes /tunnels

What will happen with Issac not taking his tablets - do we care (sorry)

Can’t think of any more thriving storylines - sure I’ve missed something important

They’re not going to tell max it’s his baby are they? Linda’s panic when she heard he’d run off with abi. She’ll be imagining him coming to steal her baby.

the80sweregreat · 11/06/2021 14:45

I know it's just a soap, but could you decide to give a baby away in real life ? Could you do this without going through social services etc?
I'm sure it's happened before, but what is the criteria? How would it work ? ( not talking about surrogacy which is more of a contract)
It's not something I've ever pondered before now to be honest!

UhtredRagnarson · 11/06/2021 14:47

I think that’s what happened with Kat and Zoe isn’t it? And Shirley and mick? Both just gave their baby to their parents to raise. Although obviously a long time ago.

SoupDragon · 11/06/2021 15:09

I guess you probably could because who would know? If it was family, especially. I don't think you could just give one to random people though - there would be all sorts of problems with parental rights and stuff.

PinkDaydreams · 11/06/2021 15:31

Why is Isaac fascinated with Paul and Johnny?

Akire · 11/06/2021 15:35

I’m guessing coming of his meds and having an obsession is sign of a relapse.

SoupDragon · 11/06/2021 15:37

I think he started out as just curious but has now latched onto the fact that it doesn't seem to be as Patrick described. I wondered if obsessions like this and needing to help Arthur might be part of his schizophrenia but Dr Google says no.

Not sure where they're going with this. Someone earlier suggested it will be a case of them not believing the guy who's off his meds and that is a possibility. With Paul and Johnny both dead, I can't see where they'd go with it.

Akire · 11/06/2021 15:43

Just googled and it’s saying no but being impulsive is one so guess that was the rabbit and ideas will get more and more unusually. Though he has been off his meds for good month now I was expecting something dramatic to happen. So suppose they have actually taken proper advice on these issues.

the80sweregreat · 11/06/2021 15:49

I bet that Isaac will become obsessed by Ruby and try to harm her because of the Allen connection to his ( half?) brother. Who were Paul and Anthony's mum?
I hope not though. Had enough of men harming women as story lines.
Years ago some children were brought up by grand parents pretending to be the real parents because of the scandal of their daughter not being married etc. I can imagine that's harder to do these days, but I don't know. It may well still go on.

I'm
Confused. How is max committing a crime. I thought he was abis guardian

RockstarMartini · 12/06/2021 09:16

Is anyone else absolutely hating the Nan Highway character? She’s been introduced too quickly and is totally unbelievable - nobody would be that rude or do things like try and set up Stuart with Honey or buy him porn. It’s just unrealistic and that’s saying something for EE!

Me too. I don’t get it. He left Walford and was talking abi with him but changed his mind at the very last minute and left him at rainies doorstep. That was just a few months ago. Surely if they were changing legal guardianship to Jack it would have involved court? I don’t see how that would have happened. Max can’t be breaking any law.
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/06/2021 09:49

Yes , right from the get-go .
She was insulting to her family and random strangers alike .

Even Aunt Nellie was in a few weeks before she let her evil side take over .

I know the actress is a "name" which usually in SoapLand means their in it for the long haul .

They all stand about simpering "Ohh what is she like "

Philth should get her tat in a binbag and tell her to Shut Up or Ship Out
(Philth is distant faaaaaamily with Violet being his Son-in-Laws Nan )

It's like how they all dance round the Evil Lexi .
She comes out with some outrageous rude bratty shite and Ben practically tugs his forelock and trots along .

Totally. It’s an awful storyline. So badly done.

Also why would she let her ds push her out of her own home if she is so stroppy and rude. No one would put up with that and why can't Stu deal with it. So what if he upsets his father - what crap is being peddled
tenredthings · 12/06/2021 12:22

There's no way that Rainie would have put up with that shit from Nan highway. Nan's character is a parody, it's like she's stepped out of a 70's sitcom. They did the same when when they introduced Karen Taylor as a total caricature who then became salt of the earth.

SoupDragon · 12/06/2021 12:32

There is more to the Nanna Highway story. The expression on her face when no one else is looking at her says that to me.

She is truly awful though!

Sad;y yes there is but I don't want there to be Grin

I want Stu to find his balls and shove her in the back of a taxi .

Does this mean we can expect a re-appearance of The Horrible Dad?

SoupDragon · 12/06/2021 13:04

How did Callum end up as such a lovely person given his family? Was he raised by rabbits? 😂😂

UhtredRagnarson · 12/06/2021 13:28

😂

SoupDragon · 13/06/2021 13:16

I believe all next week's episodes are available at once on iPlayer from Monday.

Akire · 13/06/2021 14:39

I’m going be good and watch them in their proper time or else it be long old week

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/06/2021 23:09

And, even better, DS1 wasn't home so I haven't had to listen to him sing "it's coming home!" Repeatedly.

SoupDragon · 14/06/2021 07:51

I'm definitely going to spread the episodes out. Might not be at exactly the right time because I heave to fit them round dance commitments (DD's, not mine!) but that's usual.
