So we now have gray as a triple murderer 🙀🙀🙀

Surely soon he will be found out ......

I do feel for woman in Chantelle’s situation. EE handled ee death
And murder very wrongly 😢

So will Linda keep Max’s baby. Assume it is def his - why can’t they make happy storyline for this family

Bobbys dating - will they find out he killed his sister - and he looks so young so not sure how the lady he is dating thinks he owns his business

Will Ben and callum get married

Will Bailey be found safe / didn’t anyone think of looking in tubes /tunnels

What will happen with Issac not taking his tablets - do we care (sorry)

Can’t think of any more thriving storylines - sure I’ve missed something important

Jack was suspended I think ? He has been the ' bent copper' before as well. Yet preaching to kids about being a model citizen! At least Phil was a bit sheepish about his various ' business activities'.
Maybe he'll go straight now?

the80sweregreat · 05/06/2021 11:33

If Callum did give up his job, what would he do instead? Ben knew his profession when he married him. It is very controlling; just don't marry a policeman if your the local villain is the moral here!

UhtredRagnarson · 05/06/2021 13:25

Ben is unbelievable! It all boils down to jealousy doesn’t it? He didn’t like Callum spending time with his colleague, doesn’t like Callum’s job taking so much of his time. He’s a jealous little toddler.

the80sweregreat · 05/06/2021 13:41

Yes, Ben wants Callum to be like him I suppose. A bit difficult when he is meant to be ' upholding the law'! They should not have got married at all. It was always going to be doomed!

iknowimcoming · 05/06/2021 15:20

Whilst I agree Ben is a dick for asking Callum to quit his job, Callum isn't exactly excelling at being a copper is he? He's only been in the force a short time and has already bent the law loads of times! AC12 would have a field day at Walford Police Station Wink

UhtredRagnarson · 05/06/2021 15:41

Callum is an epically shit copper! Grin

SoupDragon · 05/06/2021 17:15

He’s a jealous little toddler.

Or a controlling arse.

As a wheelchair user I was Confused at the manual wheelchair using social worker. Those houses have giant steps from the front doors at least if you are trying to do a wheelie up. Just impossible! I’m all for more representation but does no justice to access issue. Same when the old actor who went to work on Vera. Just appear in Vic despite no ramps. No wonder the world thinks everywhere is accessible. Unless they had full time assistant out of sight with a range of ramps needed to get up various depth and doors frames.

the80sweregreat · 05/06/2021 19:14

Akire, I can imagine it's a nightmare negotiating the roads and steps and generally getting about in a wheelchair. It can't be easy at all.

Akire · 05/06/2021 19:20

It’s not! I have big power chair which is worse as can’t tip it up small steps of inch or two. What happens if they had go to Karen’s or Sharon’s or the Vic? Just make everyone come down and talk on the street?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/06/2021 09:07

Ah but don't forget that was at Ian's house and he had adaptations made for Jane when she came home from hospital.
So I think (though not sure) the front door would be accesible .

Akire · 06/06/2021 09:43

The point is if a show is regularly doing discrimination in all its forms why not this as it’s pretty huge in the lives of many people. I’m sure they still have a step but even if they don’t the social worker has no way of knowing before hand if the place has one step or 10. It’s great showing all these jobs wheelchair users can have but when you can’t get into 9/10 houses that day how does that work?

UhtredRagnarson · 06/06/2021 10:10

This is a very good point @akire. If they had sent that social worker to my house he would have been literally stuck on the road as there are steps from the road up to my front door. And at the back steps from garden down to back door.

lazymum99 · 06/06/2021 10:51

Going slightly off topic. All the restaurants which have now spread onto the pavement are causing serious issues for both wheelchairs and blind people. I was sitting at one and had to help a blind man who was effectively bumping into all the tables. There were also those rubber things covering wires across the pavement for lighting. Does no one think about access along the pavement.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/06/2021 12:31

Donna managed to access the Vic and MiniMart ,the Cafe I know Vincent arranged a ramp for the back of his house (massive flight of steps at the front)
She lived in the shared house ith (I think ) Jay, Abi,Ben

But thinking about it , I'm sure Donna was able to mobilise albeit briefly .

Akire · 06/06/2021 12:52

The mini Mart did have a yellow ramp briefly I think was for Jane? But the Vic has giant step to all it’s doors so does the cafe and no room really to get up and turn as the doorway has a wall in front.

Donna was able walk few steps and around home holding onto things but she wouldn’t have been able get out and tip and lift her chair over the door way.

Let’s not mention both Albert and Ruby’s are all accessed by a flight of stairs either. Totally true to life in my experiences.

Akire · 06/06/2021 12:54

It’s great they thought we need a social worker for 5min oh let’s have someone in a wheelchair without thinking of how that would work. Showing kids look they can do any job and rather untruthful at least in 2021

SoupDragon · 06/06/2021 13:00

You would have thought having Donna as a character would have made them think - not least because the actress herself obviously needs to access the buildings and surely said something.

Akire · 06/06/2021 13:06

I think once she had a hospital appointment and she struggled to get a taxi for her chair and that was one conversation about how difficult it can be. But can’t remember them making a thing out of it she just appeared in various locations.

the80sweregreat · 07/06/2021 13:24

EE is going to be moved around the schedules for a month as it's the Euros tournament on Friday.
( not even a pandemic can stop football!)

SoupDragon · 07/06/2021 13:27

not even a pandemic can stop football!

I think these are The 2020 Euros though 😂

the80sweregreat · 07/06/2021 13:40

Yes, I am still surprised they are letting them go ahead though. Even a year later !

SoupDragon · 07/06/2021 13:42

Only in a dream world would they cancel them properly rather than postpone. Sigh.

the80sweregreat · 07/06/2021 13:48

The Olympics are going ahead too as far as I know. God forbid you have more than two people in the pub loos though as that is really dangerous, but to see men kick a ball around or watch the long jump with other people and travel miles on a plane for the privilege, that's all ok of course and mess up the EE start times as well! Utter madness.

Akire · 07/06/2021 15:41

Oh no we like a routine. Is it all on bbc or will it be itv too?
