Black mirror... Why haven't I watched this before!!

Was looking for something to watch on Netflix.. Watched the first series on tv years ago but never continued..
I'm on series 3 after binge watching 3 nights in a row..
It's bloody brilliant!!

It is incredibly good. One of them still haunts me in the small hours of the morning tho

I watched the Shut up and dance one yesterday that was particularly disturbing.

A great series, I binge watched it while waiting hours for my plane connection at Ottawa airport. ( a really boring airport)

I LOVED Black Mirror, also Inside No 9, is there anything else similar?

One of my favourite shows 🖤 So unique, thought provoking and brain sucking plots. My favourite is San Junipero.

I think it's exhausting. Don't enjoy it at all.

Sounds interesting as long as it’s not disturbing/horror.

Some of it is horror but it’s mainly dystopian. “Hated in the Nation” was my favourite

The early ones are fantastic. Then it gets progressively shitter.

Some absolutely amazing episodes though.

@abouquetofsharpenedpencils Not a horror but each episode looks at the drawbacks of how we might live in a technology driven future. It isn't scary as in jumpscare or gory. But it is scary that we are already so far into some of the ways of living explored in the different episodes! I loved it.

I thought nose dive was a great episode. I finished on that last night, I didn't watch series 3 in order but it doesn't matter.
Starting series 4 this week.

@Pebbledashery Nosedive is such a great episode. It reminds me so much of Uber ratings and obsessing over being a good passenger. I also loved The Entire History of You. Have you tried Bandersnatch yet?

Metalhead was the hardest hitting for me. I still think about that, years later.

I still havent got over that...

They're close enough to reality but not quite so your mind could almost believe it, but then you can actually see it happening for real if we allow technology to progress past a certain point.
