I also have a 9 year old and shows we have enjoyed together are - The Simpsons, Top Gear, Junior Bake Off, Merlin, The Dragon Prince (netflix), His Dark Materials, Avatar

My 8 year old loves Fawlty Towers.

My 9 nine year old and I loved The Goes Wrong Show (BBC iPlayer if still there). Also Floor is Lava and Nailed It (Netflix) work for family viewing here.

A series of unfortunate events.
We (mostly me) love the Inbestigators and Little Lunch on Netflix.
I wouldn't watch Cobra Kai with a 9 year old, too much alcohol/talk of blow jobs etc for that age imo - I was quite embarrassed watching it with my teenager!
