I watched this yesterday- not sure if it was the first episode, but I've not heard of it before. Really enjoyed it. Good idea for a show, and the guests were really good. Jimmy Carr always makes me laugh, even though he can go too far with his jokes sometimes 🤔😳

Nadine from Girls Aloud was good- I think I'd listen to any advice she gave about the singers if I were on the show

I liked it. It was trashy telly (as the trailers probably had already given away), but compelling trashy telly!

I think it's a bit like The Masked Singer: it doesn't pretend to be a bold, groundbreaking new production of Othello - just something that you enjoy because lots of us just really like silly, escapist things

When the singers sang and you were about to find out if they were good or bad I got it wrong each time! I don't know how they immediately knew they were good or bad singers...was there a sign/klaxon that went off?! For example Guitar Star sounded a bit bad to me when he first started singing but they all immediately knew he was good! Was it just me?!

I was completely wrong about the nail technician. Was so sure she'd be bad because her performance was so good! A bit of a double bluff!

I know what you mean: one or two notes aren't always enough to categorically mark somebody out as a 'good' or 'bad' singer. I suppose it only works if they get outstandingly good and utterly terrible singers - half-decent ones that can hold a tune would probably blur the lines a little too awkwardly!

Mind, talking of 'awkward', I wonder how many of the 'bad' singers acknowledge that they're bad. I think they said that at least one of them reckoned he was top-notch! It must take a lot of nerves to go up there, knowing that your job is to be laughed at (and not in a comedian kind of way) or, at best, cheered when somebody guessed you'd be rubbish and you come out and confirm that you are!

I thought Eurostar would be good. What were your guesses?

I guess he was a drag queen, so he WAS a performer...just not a singer!
