Dev is a bit creepy, interfering in his daughter's love life. He needs a sensible girlfriend. Mary's daughter in law, she was nice and would bring Mary back into the Dev family. Was Jude really Mary's son, I forget.

That would have been great! Angie was instantly a more interesting character once Jude left, but I got the impression she was axed rather than the actress wanting to leave. As an accountant, she had a ‘modern professional woman’ vibe that only Carla ever really seems to have otherwise (and even she doesn’t have her own business anymore). Plus, Angie and Toyah felt like a friendship with genuine potential.

I’m trying to think of professional women in Corrie.

Carla- not anymore
Toyah- counsellor?
Aggie- nurse

What does Sally work at these days?

Abby - mechanic. Skilled trade rather than profession i suppose but not one you see many women in so positive especially since she's had a troubled background.

Natasha is something very important in hairdressing or something. There was Detective Haircut but she has gone.
Claudia was also very important and wealthy.
I'd like Fizz to axe Ty, and Alina to axe Ty, and for Fizz to become very glamorous and successful in antiques. Even though I don't much like her.

Yes, where did Paula the Barrister go? Did she go away with Sawfie travelling? I don't think she did but may be mistaken.

Paula was originally going with sawfie but she changed her mind and sawfie went on her own. We’ve seen Paula since then for something. Maybe yasmeens trial?

That right he did! We definitely saw Paula after sawfie left but I can’t remember what for.

Yes I think that was it.

I know the actress went into Casualty, but the character just seemed to disappear. She briefly reappeared at Yasmeen’s plea hearing, so I assumed she was coming back as her barrister, but it never happened.

I noticed the pile of books on the builders stairs too, as if that stairway isn't already a deathtrap. Dev drives me mad, he is either shouting at Asha, or sucking up to her tearfully, he is just awful, and so interfering. I think Paul will find dirt on Todd and dish it up to Billy though i hope not, i would like to see him moving on and meeting someone better. Todd is with Billy, so that's punishment enough for him.

Maybe Todd and Billy will be standing at the altar and Paul interrupts the ceremony by telling everyone that Todd paid a young lad to pretend to be a victim of abuse and that he caused Summer's accident etc etc or maybe it will all be forgotten (like Gary murdering Rick).
