One other question. The new girl who has moved into the pub. Who is she and where did she come from? Is she Johnny's relation or Jenny's?

Also why did Ty lie to Fizz Bomb tonight? Why didn't he just say "she told me to do one". Sure Fizz told him to ask her to leave but she can't be under the impression that he can force her? He asked and that's what she wanted him to do.

Aggie is meant to be looking after an aunt who has long COVID. I think in real life the actress must be shielding as she also disappeared off looking after someone in the first lockdown. They probably planned this storyline with her there in person so it's a bit unfortunate lockdown happened again and they had to resort to zoom.

The girl in the pub is Daisy, who is Jenny's stepdaughter from her previous marriage.

I'm sure I'm probably imagining things, but whilst watching Thursday's and Fridays episodes I'm sure I noticed that the Bailey's stupid staircase is held up by a stack of books. The tiny first 'landing' bit that sticks out into the room. I couldn't be bothered to rewind it to check, but I'll be keeping an eye out in future episodes! As I said, I'm probably seeing things

And suddenly there's a new premises on the street, that we never saw before, which becomes the new undertakers, sorry Funeral Parlour. And our Todd just walks in and talks a random into having a gold service in a few short sentences.
Dev is very weird I agree - not only with Nina, but his own daughter, "Hi honey you're home" and the way he talks to her just jars.
The Aggie/Uncle/Dad/baby storyline is boring and too long winded and just goes around in circles.

Alina should stick to her guns and stay in the Street, and Fizz should just get used to it, or leave Ty.

Gary who seems to have a hairdresser on tap in the nick should be out by now. And is Johnny OK? Is he still imagining cats and seeing his dead son? Perhaps that actor is also off set due to Covid too.

I agree with the pp about Dev and his daughter. He seems weirdly obsessed with her and I find it quite uncomfortable to watch.

I also agree that Nina's lipstick makes her teeth look a really weird colour. Yesterday her skin looked really grey too.

Hmmm Fizz is a bit mardy but I feel for her and the other women who get on with all the house stuff, childcare and chores that men dont want to do and then end up being called boring and swapped for a younger woman Her realisation about what had happened to her was really sad but beautifully acted. Tyrone is a selfish twat. I really hope Fizz goes at him and ends it and Alina tells him to do one as well . Hes got a bloody cheek, telling her its her fault . Sack him off Fizz !!!

He's bored. It happens. I'd feel like the walls of that cluttered wee house were closing in on me too. You'd have a 'is this it?' kind of feeling about your life there.
I think I sometimes think like a man and have definitely found Tyrone quite relatable in this situation.
That said, I am very very anti-cheating. And I did find Fizz boring and annoying even before this storyline ...

He told Fizz the current situation where she is upset is her fault, Sorry I wasnt clear.

It was a kiss, and he's trying to make things better. The problem is, she hasn't given herself the time to process it, which is why she keeps throwing it in his face. And this impedes the recovery of their relationship.
They need some time apart.

What did make me sad, is when they went for the meal and had nothing to talk about other than the children. I fear they've grown apart.

Yes agree they need time apart but as the house is Tyrones that leaves Fizz in a sticky situation.

They've not been happy for a while. Fizz was gone for months at the residential facility with Hope. That's bound to take its toll on a relationship.
I know it's not a popular view, but I can honestly see how something like this could happen. Fizz and Tyrone are more like brother and sister than partners. And life is seldom black or white.

Oh I agree I can see how it happens, the realisation on Fizz face when she realised what she had become was so sad.

Also the realisation that her care of "The Girls", the house etc was not valued by Tyrone over a pretty face and her anger and bitterness at that.
Its a tale as old as time which is why I want her to change and show Tyrone 💪

It was sad, I agree. And it is the old tale of 'women's work' not being valued enough. I 100% agree with you.
But it IS what happens when a couple stop making an effort with each other, and put all their energies into the children. They take each other for granted and the relationship goes out the window ... especially when there's no sex.

To be fair Ty thought he was having heart attack so it does make you question Is this it? Out of all houses in street theirs is most depressing. How can you relax in living room/kitchen when all you can stare at is a table. Builders house is massive and space relax. Ken has plenty of Space. Theirs dark dingy and depressing.

I don’t dislike Fizz as much as many of you on here. I feel sorry for her. And she can’t be expected to just forget it in a couple of days. But equally she can’t demand that Alina moves! But I hope they do make it. Every relationship goes through a boring patch where there’s not much to talk about (especially this year!!).

Why is Gary still on remand? Surely he should have been released now Faye has confessed & pled guilty. Or was there something else he was jailed for that I've forgotten about
