Yeah the Peter appearance surprised me too. He was literally knocking deaths door a week or so ago and apparently now he is on the transplant list he is right as rain!

Yes I thought Sharon was slurring her words in every scene. Very predictable storyline too- Corrie is so bad now that it’s laughable

I find it so weird that Seb is saying Yes to moving in with Nina. They've had one date, if that?

I think they are sweet together, and Seb is good looking isn't he? Obviously he doesn't have an ounce of common sense with the flower wreath thing.

I also find it highly unlikely that Todd would be happy with a job where he dresses in a sharp suit but then sits in the equivalent of a front room with an older man who reads a paper sat on a sofa.

Is he still with Billy? I have no idea.

@Roussette at least they had a date ! Tyrone and Alina seemed to have moved in together despite no previous date! I'm loving Seb he's one of the best actors right now, felt sorry for poor Dev with his teary eyes after seeing asha and revolting Corey living together !!

Sharon does indeed sound dreadful. I wondered if it was supposed to be because she’d had cancer and was still somewhat ravaged by it? Although it could just be that Tracie Bennett has new teeth. She’s always been a good actress, so I’m hoping it’s deliberate for some reason. I’m also hoping she might somehow redeem herself and save Leanne and co from Evil Jambo.

He wouldn’t be on the transplant list anyway would he? Surely he has to prove his myself by having a sustained period of being sober first?

Knowing Corrie, the Nina -Seb romance will all go horribly wrong, they only seem to do grim stories or silly comedy ones now. No one is allowed to be happy for long.

He got on the list last week on his wedding day. He got very ill, they did a superfast wedding and rushed him to the hospital. Peter Looking like Bart Simpson. Bit of waiting around and then the doctor came in and said he was on the list now, could be waiting months or it could be days, and to keep his phone on him at all times.

They are very efficient, I'm sure he will be transplanted soon.

A work colleague of mine went on the kidney transplant list and got one within 10 days. Its the luck of the draw.

But with liver transplants who's liver is fucked because of alcohol abuse, the rules are quite stringent, understandably. They did cover it on EE with Phil Mitchell. The NHS demand you are alcohol free for (I think) 6-12 months prior to them considering you for transplant. They quite rightly don't want to go to the time, trouble and financial cost of giving you a liver only for you to skip off to the pub the minute you're discharged and fuck the second one up as well.

It wouldn't happen in the NHS. Obviously for liver transplants for non alcohol related illnesses it's different and for other organ transplants that are a result of conditions such as infection, cancer, CF etc they would put you on a list.

Sounds like they’ve messed up the storyline then. Probably to fit in with where they want to story to go so aren’t worried about accuracy.

As for Sharon and her cancer story well I really don't think that is genuine so will Rita be strong enough to stand the shock when she learns her long lost Sharon is worse than ever. Reets seems very frail these days.

Carla has a kidney transplant herself doesn’t she? So does TraceyLove (which has done remarkably well considering it was many years ago and has been caned with red wine ever since. What are the chances of you, your husband and your SIL all being on the transplant list at some point?!
