Is anyone else watching The Street, as I think it's just a bit sick.

I know that Jimmy McGovern is supposed to be one of our finest drama writers but watching a man supposedly put his family through losing their dad/husband is just really off.

I asked dh why we should believe that someone would do this, and he said, "oh because this is a man at the end of his tether." Cor, good job life is never stressful for women then.

He could have just inherited his brothers money & eased his own financial problems!

I have it on in the background but couldn't work out what was happening - have just read the tv pages and can you confirm -

the guy who is alive, is actually the husband and he's pretending its the other way round ?

Can you also confirm - it was an accident that the dead guy is dead.
