Soooo jealous.

Just checked and its a shortened series this year, presumably they don't have access to do some of the usual challenges. Final next Friday, that seems to have flown by.

Caught up - pretty ridiculous restaurant dishes. Not surprised Madeeha was late as never been in a professional kitchen. Middle dish was unfair as normally prepped by two checks, dessert just bizarre. They all did ok.

I wonder if they get a crash course in food hygiene at the start of Masterchef - never using boards for raw and cooked meat, different spoons when tasting as they seem good at it. Those are pretty basic but maybe there is other stuff?

What in the name of Jesus on toast was Stefan doing with that godsforsaken plate spatter? It looked like he'd left it too near the plasterers.

I had a feeling she was a Dungeness person! (See my previous post, it’s somewhere in the back archives). Love Dungeness. It was up for a sale a few years ago for an amazing bargain price, I would have bought it if I had had a couple of million to spare.
