I've never been able to watch Comic Relief. Watching TOTP 1990 has reminded me of Red Nose Day back then - even back then I remember cringing at the poorly rehearsed presenting, cobbled together gang show-style skits and Lenny Henry getting frenzied.

At least we don't get Ben Elton these days I suppose. Small mercies.
