I’m not sure this has legs. Had Gordon got presenter charisma? Is it not just all about the physics? Doesn’t seem like a, for instance, Tipping Point where the contestant might take a chance. It’s going to unbalance or it’s not. There’s no luck involved. Thoughts?

I agree, it's dull and Gordon is not interesting enough as a presenter.

I only saw a few minutes. Will take some getting used to. He's not a great comedian and not sure he has the finesse of a presenter but keeping an open mind. He can be quite blunt (understatement) which does have humour. Need to see the concept of the show.

I can’t see this coming back for a second series. For some reason my dp is watching it.

It takes 35 minutes plus for each couple to complete their turn. Even if they’re shit and get loads wrong it still takes ages for the thing to tip. I reckon you can’t get more than 3 penalties. Some people achieve this on their first 3 goes so have no chance be of winning but you still have to watch them go through the entire drawn out process. Most boring but is if they have 4 stack and get the first answer wrong. Then you just have to watch while they stack 5 objects on top of each other under no time pressure.

Has anyone won? I keep seeing bits and pieces but everyone seems to lose

I don’t think there’s been a winner yet. I’m still trying to distill the best play strategy.

Pick the zone ( random)
If it’s near the centre go for a large stack of blocks
If it’s far from the fulcrum, go small.
If you’ve gone small, pick your less strong question category.
Stacking the bricks won’t make much difference on the forces being exerted, a cm this way or that way really has little impact.
Don’t jump into an answer without sense checking it with your partner, and use any time you have wisely.

I could not watch any more.

DH & DS watched it for a couple of episodes - I could not - I think Gordon Ramsay should keep to what he is good at as he doesn't come across in any amusing congenial way. The contestants seem to come across as having been picked for their ability to be good on TV & I just think the game is too complicated & a bit boring

I caught this this evening for the first time. Had to turn over due to Gordon Ramsey. Constant unfunny 'humour'. Charmless.
