Anyone watching this? I've loved seeing the locations, and the imaginative tweaks, but can't get over how small some of the spaces are - AND how there's rarely anywhere to go to the loo!

Lots of places that would look lovely in photos and you'd think 'aaaah how sweet' when you arrived. By the next morning, you'd be wishing you'd booked a proper building. (See also shepherd's huts ... I can't imagine anyone would want to be in one of those for long.)

I also look at them and think it must have taken so much money to make them barely habitable, surely you might just as well have bought a garden room type thing instead - or not bothered, and had that money in your bank as a sure thing.

Good points! I'm far too large (fat AND tall!) to fit comfortably into those small spaces.

Just watched the Horse box one - no way will those bunk beds hold up to hundreds of kids every month.Did wonder why they did not just buy some bunks and bolt em to the wall .
And i feckin hate those plants jars in a box hanging on rope .
Where are the people who pay hundred quid a night to sleep in a van, after driving 100 miles in a van, with no swimming pool,no buffet breakfast ...
i hope sarah beeney is not watching this - she could park up 100 vans and make a million a year .
whew .... and breath ...

Also just watched the horse box one. Imagine being stuck in that with 4 kids and all day rain! The open end would allow all the insects in to bite you later.
The interior design was a mismatch nightmare and the bunk curtains unfinished. Didn’t see the bathroom, must be minute.

Loving the imagination and ingenuity involved, but agree one night only for some locations.
We did stay for a long weekend in a one room cottage and to get to bed it was up the ladder to the bed on the platform in the loft. The place was beautifully fitted out and we were quite comfortable. It was a lovely break in some stunning countryside which would be hard to access otherwise, but we've not repeated it.
