Keeping Faith music!

I love this programme but dear God the whingy, whiny music drives me mad! I HATE it, I have to mute it - even at risk of missing some of the programme in the process. Arghhh!

Anyone else or am I alone in this?!

Nope got to admit its reassuring to read your post@Cotbedy- found myself ffwding overly long, annoying AF sequence of "dreamy/pensive and always pouty/oral fixated close-ups..something strangely porno about it all imho ; )

And yy to all the close up pouts, I really don't understand why they're necessary, the programme isn't about her mouth.

I can't bear the music! I've watched all 3 series in spite of the constant, over-sentimental soundtrack. I don't like having my heartstrings so blatantly tugged at. In our house we say"oh, here we fucking go again!" and make vomming noises every time Wadge pipes up.

And "Wadge" sounds like a compound word of wank and vagina.

Ive just started season 3.. I get what everyones saying about the dire music..

where is our wonderful music from Seasons 1 and 2 🤔

I like the music, but it should be at the end, not at the beginning.

Oh, I mean series 1 and 2. Haven't seen 3.

Oh, Gwenhwyfar, it's in the same vein as series 1 & 2, so you'll probably love it.

Same exact formula; repetition of the first word for emphasis, same simple repetition of tune. A song you can sing along to perfectly before the second verse is finished on the first hearing. A song for people who don't ask much of musicians. Easy, plaintive, packed with emotion.

Im finding Season 3 a bit... slow

Season 1 & 2 had me on the edge of my seat.

I loved watching Keeping Faith! I've watched the all three series at least three times. I loved the music even more! I often have wondered if the show might not have been successful had it not had THIS music.

I like the music too.
Wasn't too keen on the later series.

I thought the music was the best thing about it ;)

I love the music on Keeping Faith. Ok it is repetitive but I’m afraid I love to indulge in a bit of repetition in music at times, especially if I’m enjoying it. Happy to hear it over and over!

Amy Wadge writes for Ed Sheeran doesn’t she? I love his songs. Can’t wait for the next album. Out soon I think.
