I'm currently on episode 4, finding it very easy to watch for someone that can't usually be arsed with subtitles but am devastated by recent revelations, and need to discuss... Tonnie Shock

I've watched the first three episodes.
I had to play back the shooting scene at the end of episode 2 as I was v confused!

Oh ThreeLadsPointingAtAStar it's episode 4 that gave me the Shock face - Enjoy! I've now binged to the end, and enjoyed it apart from the last episode which is a bit meh imo. It does get progressively implausible but I like the characters (ok I like Andy, and maybe weirdly, Tonnie) There's something about it that makes it a bit cartoony/fun despite all the violence.

Oooh, I shall watch episode 4 tonight.

I was trying to describe it to a colleague today and the best I could come up with was a crime show with comedy but lots of violence.

And a bit of good cop/bad cop buddy movie thrown in too... I read something online likening it to Life on Mars, which I also binged during lockdown ( a decade after everyone else ). Thinking about it now I'm not sure how they keep it so lighthearted given all the death and violence - but I guess you don't see a lot of the consequences of it all ( not much dwelling on the grief of any of the characters for instance ) and setting it in the 80's sort of distances you from it too, possibly because you're distracted by the knitwear Grin
