i saw it and was transfixed by it as i didn't know his story and was dying to know what happened to him although i predicted that he didn't go home. Was quite depressed at the end though ...it was heavy and I felt for his family who have lived with the consequences of his actions

I knew the story, but I didn't know exactly what had happened. Thought the doc was exemplary.

Such a tragic conspiracy of personality and circumstance

Really painful to imagine what DC (and his wife and 4 children) had gone through. I loved the elegaic note at the very end, when his friend said he gave him a hero's burial.

yes..i didn't realise how long it was when I started watching it (thought just an hour but was on for almost 2) but got caught up in it and had to watch until the end.
