It's so good! I've watched loads on my day off today and have just started season 2.

I LOVE Andrea - also her clothes.

Actually I love most of them although Sofia is a bit annoying, albeit breathtakingly beautiful.

And I use it to practise my French - repeating what the actors say.

Anyone else loving this series?

I’m with you! Watching it at lunchtimes with my DD who is doing GCSE French. Two eps left of s4 😢 loved it. Hated Andrea at the start but by S4 loved her. Is it me or do you find Herve’s lack of obvious eye colour a bit disconcerting? I was struggling to pinpoint what is was that made him seem quite odd looking then I realised that his eyes look like giant pupils?

I love it! Finished the series recently and miss it.

Really good, i've recommended it to several friends and my French Conversation class.
I hadn't noticed Hervé's eyes!

It's Mathias for me, with his lugubrious face and his expressions when he can't seem to catch a break. Again.

Oh @Netaporter love the randomness of your problem with Herve's eyes! I shall have to inspect his yeux ce soir.

I love Mathias and also slightly fancy Gabriel is a shaggy, scruffy, comforting way. Also how brilliant is Jean Gabin?

And I never used the word 'carrément' before but will have to start now.

I've started watching it all for the third time!
Next time may try without subtitles.
I love Noémie and her ridiculous over the top reactions.

Just started this and looked for a thread on it - I'm loving them all and their ridiculousness. And the french swearing...ace.

I love the one with Monica Bellucci - poor Gabriel

I love the women in it in particular. They are so chic, confident, interesting.

I love this series - I had seen so many recommendations but felt a bit meh about starting it. However not finding anything to watch we gave it a go and now totally ADORE it. Love all the character, the very French theme music and Jean Gabin. I will be devastated when we finish it. Unbelievably Herve is now 40 and was mid 30s for the first season - assumed he was younger!

I thought he was a lot younger! He's a great character.

I was also shocked to find out that the actress playing arlette is 88!

I think Herve is my favourite character (well, besides Catherine, who just looks so fabulous all the time). So many times in the last season he made me laugh hysterically. There was one where he offhandedly referred to fancying Hicham that if you blinked you missed it but was hilarious.

Noemie grew on me too. I didn’t like her when she was competing with Catherine for Mathias but once that throwdown was over she showed quite a bit of spine and had her own moments of hilarity.

What fun it would be to go out with Herve and Noemie as drinking buddies? 🍷 🍺🍸🥂🍻🍹🍾🥃
