Anyone watching Zero Zero Zero?

I found the first episode a bit difficult to get into but then really enjoyed it.

I loved how the periods in time switched so seamlessly.

Obvious gruesomeness that you'd expect from a mafia/drug drama.

I thought some of the location shots were amazing too - it must have cost a fortune to shoot.

It's true the countryside locations were amazing. And the hidey hole was most intriguing.

But I managed one and a half episodes and gave up - too unremittingly grim, not a single sympathetic character. Might be bearable week by week in normal times, but not really meeting my lockdown binge needs. (Strictly and Masterchef ... )

Dh says he didn't want to watch if it was permanent subtitles for the Italian storyline. Is it, please?

My husband hates subtitles too but he watched all of this. Yes they are throughout.

Yes it never really let up did it! But I liked it. And beautiful locations.
