I don't believe Gobby would forget Val's birthday- she's bound to have mentioned it. She's 50- she even mentioned it to Al when he was helping her out the other day.

I love it when they 'remember' rubbish we thought they had forgotten.

I watched it today. Wasn't the prison guard deaf? I am honestly all for disabled people being given roles but surely somebody with profound hearing loss would not be able to do a job like prison guard for safety reasons? Am looking forward to tomorrow's episode, I love Val and I really appreciate the silly storylines when they have them!!

Watched it late last night. Made a change to have a different prison guard.

I'm another one who hated Val at first and now really likes her. Glad she got the all clear. Who is Ricky Delaine? Must have been from one of my spells of not watching regularly.

Luca has grown on me too. I think Emma is going to make a pass at him. She's had quite a long fallow period in her love life.

Eventually Ricky is a singer that Val really likes, he has been in it before, but I can't remember the storyline properly. He's a bit of 'crooner' type from memory .
