Anyone know when Call the Midwife is due to begin?

I can't wait. I know they were managing to film during Corona, but I imagine it'll be delayed. Does it usually start in January?

I thought they had only managed to film the Christmas special.... but I don’t know that for certain

I was wondering this the other day too, as thought it normally started in January. When I googled it articles just said it would be back later this year.

According to dd1 who follows them on FB, they are still filming at the moment, apparently they posted on Friday said nearing completion.

Just seen they've completed filming now. Not sure when the series will start.

Apparently just finished filming, according to a tweet today.
Not sure how long it takes after that.

Guess filming takes longer under covid times.
