I was all for saying it was HIV and that's why she's warning Lola off. But it was strange she said he could have been killed: like something specific happened.

Surely being on ADs wouldn't bring shame on anyone? Patrick would understand.
Maybe he used to be very promiscuous or taking drugs or criminal behavior ( which is usual for EE anyway !)
He is a teacher , so he must have passed all the checks etc ? I'm intrigued.

Maybe Isaac was in a relationship, didn't tell about the hiv and got found out and beaten up? Guessing not a spoiler! The ruby baby scan photo thing was laughable wasn't it, and Bobby telling suki about ash too such wooden acting!

I think you’d be on a whole cocktail of medication if HIV. pretty difficult to keep that hidden from those you live with. Also why would she say you could have been killed?
One tablet daily is all you take these days.

There is a young man in Corrie has HIV everyone is perfectly fine with even past girlfriends. Takes the meds zero risk. Unlikely to be that though do agree with stigma issues.

I'm thinking HIV too , maybe from drug taking? In which case he could be another one without a job soon as well ( if that came out) He'll end up working in the salon.
Heterosexual sex is as likely as homosexual sex to pass on the virus - both account for about 40% of infections in the UK -drug taking is a lot less likely cause. I'm guessing he wasn't taking the meds previously and passed it on to someone whose family then beat him up. The association with HIV and being gay is still very strong and there is a huge stigma against being gay in some parts of the Caribbean. I think Sheree is worried about that stigma and it being an issue with school parents. She knows he has to tell Lola at some point (even though the drug renders the virus undetectable and cannot be passed on), and is worried that it will then get out.

I thought HIV at first, but then with the comments about the dangerous situations I thought maybe its a mental health thing and he had some sort of episode or was suicidal.

How is Ruby going to manage the fact she'll give birth 5 weeks later than everyone expects??

It won't get that far - she'll have to explain away the scans being wrong before she gets there unless she manages to fob Martin off from coming to any appointments, mind you since vinny works at the club she can probably bribe ash to fake her scans anyway since ash is one of those marvellous multi-tasking drs who does ultrasounds and works in icu whilst only being at the hospital for 2 hours a week!

I've been a few episodes behind so kept away. I thought HIV or hepatitis I even thought organ transplant until shiree said people wouldn't understand.
Loving the Jean and Sharron friendship I think that really works.
Ruby is just annoying I used to like her before but I dont know what it is now I just want martin to leave her.

Martin is thick she can make some excuse about dates. She can easily add on two weeks and hope baby is not late that make
Her 9. Then only 3 weeks to cover up and she can say she got her cycle dates wrong.

I still think that Phil will blow it with her. She overheard him last night and he'll have to grovel to get her back now! She looks good for 51.

I do recall Kat calling Phil names before!
It was horrible though. He'll probably say ' I'm putting Ben off the scent ' or something as they are sneaking about together ( or were)
I did feel for Sharon being rejected but she did have an affair so I suppose she shouldn't have been too surprised to be knocked back really.

Yes I was really shocked they showed him casually pushing a pregnant woman over onto concrete Angry Thats why I am glad that skank Max has gone. Sick of seeing him perving over women young enough to be his daughters🤮
