Does anybody else watch The Shield? I think it is one of the best dramas on TV atm. The story lines are hard hitting, brutal and completely absorbing. No doubt our moral guardians hate it but it is refreshing to see a show that does not pull its punches and shows characters in all their dimensions, good and bad (e.g. Dutch strangling his cat, Vic, where do you start besides murdering his colleague in first series and robbing the money train).
I can't wait for it to return next year to see if the Strike team survives and Claudette gets her promotion to Captain.
