I find the Devil at Christmas one almost too disturbing, was a bit awkward watching that with DS who was only 13 at the time.

I love them ALL!

But the funniest moment for me, was in Death be not proud, when Maureen & David broke into a dance to Soulja Boy. I was proper cry laughing at that!

This thread actually sent me down a rabbit hole, and I've found Psychoville, which I did not know existed!

I'm surprised many people liked Bernie Clifton's dressing room. I didnt find it amusing or compelling at all. Perhaps i need to watch it again...

I found the Riddle of the Sphinx way too disturbing to really enjoy it

Ooh, tough to choose!

Surprised no one has said Love’s Great Adventure, the skint family with the heroin addict son and the ‘missing’ no. 9 door on the advent calendar. I thought it was a lovely heartwarming episode that didn’t make me lose my dinner like some other ones 🤢 (Riddle of the Sphinx, Devil at Christmas).

Loved Once Removed (house moving day goes very wrong), and La Couchette had a classic Pemberton/Shearsmith twist. Christine was too sad to watch more than once IMO but I did really enjoy it.

A few feel like fillers to me; Diddle Dumpling, Death be not Proud, Misdirection (magician in his lock up). I’ve never seen a truly shit episode, Last Gasp, the karaoke one and The Bill are my worst ones I think. The Harrowing was fucking terrifying and I actually screamed at the end (went to see Ghost Stories at the theatre and screamed my way through 50% of that too so I’ve got previous 🤣).

So to summarise: Love’s Great Adventure, The Harrowing and Once Removed are my three faves I think, but I remember really enjoying Tom and Gerri so I’ll have to give that another watch before committing 🧐
