New thread for tonight because the previous one is almost full.

I've gone for it another way and googled notable people from Blackpool. Now I'm not saying any of these are sausage, but famous people from Blackpool include Zoe Ball, The Nolans, Jodie Prenger and many others.

Now, I really could have seen Sausage's voice being Bernie Nolan, if she were still with us, but I don't think any of the other Nolans have such powerful voices, do they?

I suppose they could also have had Viking reading a few mags with a pal??? If they'd wanted another very subtle clue that only those of us of a very narrow age range would have noticed, they could also have made him one of those little leather string bracelets to wear, like he used to in his early career (or did they and I didn't spot it?). Does anybody else remember that?!

Well spotted - if he had been British, as he was trying to pretend, he almost certainly wouldn't have used that greeting. More like "how do you do, old beans" or something more British

Ah, I stand corrected, then - whether or not she is Sausage! Apart from all the clues probably not fitting for her, if it's not ageist to state it, I get the impression from Sausage's voice and demeanour that she's considerably younger (20+ years or so) than Coleen.

Of course, we could all be barking up the wrong tree entirely and OrangeBananaFish is in on it and deliberately leading us a merry dance with the most tenuous subtle of 321-style clues.

I honestly think sausage is either Joss Stone or Sheridan, but most likely Joss. If it was someone else, then someone, somewhere will have come up with those suggestions. It would be funny if it does turn out to be a randomer that no-one as thought of.

@mrsnec That must be quite an old video? He introduced her as Rosie Windsor so before they were married. Rosie also had a baby at the beginning of January so would have been about 6 months pregnant when filming was being done.

Yes its a really old video. First one that came up. Yes she would have been that pregnant but so was Joss Stone. I think that costume would accommodate it.

I still think Joss Stone and Sheridan are likely candidates it's just another name to add to the mix and I'm sure I've heard her on a podcast talking about sausages

I've just rewatched Badger- I'm not at all convinced it's Neyo! Unless he's a great actor then his body movements are completely not like Neyos.

My best guess is Leigh Francis! The hats, the hidden talent (he's also an artist), the being is disguise (as Kieth Lemon and other characters)

Who is Chris Ramsey?

He's a comedian from the north east - as well as doing stand-up, he also starred in the under-promoted but brilliant sitcom Hebburn, along with Kimberley Nixon, Gina McKee and Jim Moir (AKA Vic Reeves).

Just seen something online suggesting Will Mellor as badger. Not sure if that's already been mentioned but I'm now thinking wouldn't that be great if it's him against Sheridan? Despite my suggestions I'm still very fickle.

Hmm Will Mellor is from Stockport which historically was the centre of the hat industry...although I think that clue would be too obscure for most people unless they happen to from Stockport...
