I am in quite a state of pandemic anxiety today- if you have seen me fighting on certain threads that is why- and I need something easy and not too grim to watch on the above streaming services. Prob have watched most of the usual suggestions. I need it to not be sad or grim, and pref with some good looking people in good looking settings. ( Please no grim crime dramas about pedophiles set in rainy grey seaside towns).

Sex Education on Netflix?
I just rewatched this and it never fails to make me laugh, I think series 3 is coming soon too
QueenPawPaws · 04/02/2021 10:07

Fate the winx saga is surprisingly enjoyable

therarebear · 04/02/2021 16:33

'Wanted' is a brilliant show on Netflix. It's Australian, and is the story of 2 women who go on the run after being unwittingly caught up in dodginess involving corrupt cops and a big bag of money. The characters are great, and so is the scenery, husband and I binge watched the lot, 3 series!

purrswhileheeats · 04/02/2021 18:04

Dead To Me? I've heard they've started filming a third series so recently re watched seasons 1 & 2 - bloody brilliant Shock

covetingthepreciousthings · 04/02/2021 18:45

What about New Girl, Brooklyn 99 or A Typical? They're all easy going & can easily binge them as they're only about 20-30 min episodes.

CodenameVillanelle · 04/02/2021 18:47

The marvellous Mrs maisel on prime ticks all your boxes

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 04/02/2021 20:08

I’ve been binging Superstore on Netflix, not very high brow but I’m enjoying it.

You need to watch The Last Kingdom! They add more eye candy as the seasons go Grin

minchinfin · 04/02/2021 20:13

Fate the winx saga

imwas amazed at how watchable this was too, DH even watched it. Same with Discovery of Witches.

that's enough magical creatures for a bit though ...

AlohaMolly · 04/02/2021 20:13

How old are you OP? I’m 33 and remember watching a season of heartbreak high as a teenager. It’s on Netflix now and I’m watching a few a night and it’s gloriously easy!

lovemenomore · 04/02/2021 20:15

I am loving New Amsterdam on Prime & the Good Doctor is amazing!

Ch3rish · 04/02/2021 20:15

I watched Virgin River after recommendations on here, that's very light and easy to watch

EileenGC · 04/02/2021 20:18

It’s gotta be Virgin River! It’s super easy to watch, gorgeous characters and the most beautiful setting you could imagine... I haven’t binge watched it a few times already... 🙈

Ch3rish · 04/02/2021 20:19

Have you tried Mallorca Files on iplayer, nice scenery, easy on the eye actors

buckeejit · 04/02/2021 20:20

Undone

ExpectingToFly · 04/02/2021 20:23

The Durrels! It's on netflix and then last series on brit box. It's so funny and gorgeous. I love all the characters. The actors are brilliant! It's just lovely Smile

SweatyBetty20 · 04/02/2021 20:25

I was just going to say The Durrells - I am gagging to be back in Greece!

midsomermurderess · 05/02/2021 12:52

The Sandhamn Murders on Prime, if you don;'t mind subtitles. Swedish crime series set in gorgeous parts of the Stockholm archipelago. It's not heavy, and beautiful to watch.

lovemenomore · 05/02/2021 14:21

Also for easy to watch - Sweet Magnolias on Netflix

IntermittentParps · 05/02/2021 14:24

The Queen's Gambit has beautiful settings, 50s/60s threads etc.

Frequentflier · 05/02/2021 16:27

Thanks for all the suggestions; have seen a few of these but will work my way down the list.

Keeping Criminal Minds for when things get better!
