Anyone watched it?

We’re a few episodes in and I need to know how perilous/upsetting/violent it is as the last one had me hiding behind a pillow.

A phenomenal series! Absolutely amazing!

Have only just discovered this show. Binging it and up nearly end of season 3.

Loving it

Its wonderful isn't it. The violence was almost at my limit - but the narrative and the costumes and disguises are just brilliant.

Am almost jealous that you are getting to discover it for the first time. One of the things I really love about it - and another poster sort of alluded to it - is that it subverts the usual dynamic of mother being the nurturer and worrier about the children and father the risk-taker. In a less subtle drama that would be 'resolved' as such and right restored but this happens to only a limited extent in this series. Elizabeth is a very complex, multi-dimensional character, a real anti-hero - as is Phillip to be fair - and the wrestle with so many ethical dilemmas, the position of the children is just one of them. Yes, it's a family drama as much as anything else, but never goes for the easy win or resolution. Definitely no lessons, no hugs (to borrow from Seinfeld)

Completely agree @theleafandnotthetree

Agree it’s brilliant tv.

If anyone also watched Billions, have you noticed that Dollar Bill Stearns is Pastor Tim!
