jordan is ridiculous. i don't like any of them apart from the matthew perry character. studio 60 is so blatantly a vanity project.

Yes, very dodgy comedy sketche sinvolving talking vegetables etc world-shaking stuff...

Did they get down off the roof?
(Started watching while DH away...back now and is not his cup of tea so keep missing it )

Is it maybe because it is 'satire' and America don't do as much satire as UK, so we are use dto Have I got news for you and yes minister and spitting image etc?

Tigaaaarghna · 30/10/2007 18:26

I'll stop there then...they are off the roof and happy. That'll do me, who cares what the real end is ( since we'll never see it anyway!)

DANCESwithHughJackman · 30/10/2007 18:29

OH I agree, I can't STAND her, don't know why, I just can't. Is it me or are all the sketches they write not funny at all? We're a couple of weeks behind so waiting for Jordan and bloke of west wing to get it together. Glad to hear it is highly unpredictable and they don't

TerrorMater · 30/10/2007 18:30

A let down after the West Wing.

Trying for the same moral superiority thing, but with network television.

I agree, the comedy sketches are shite. Would thise 2 black gut=ys really have talked to each other in that way? Think not. They are all messed up people and I have to say that whilst I do watch it I really don't know quite why!!
Not much acting going on here methinks!

policywonk · 31/10/2007 13:53

Agree with the majority on here - Sorkin could get away with that level of pomposity when writing about the Leader of the Free World, but it's becoming apparent that he really does think that network television is as important as being President. Freak. Also, the dialogue isn't as sharp as it was on WW, the 'sketches' bring me out in hives and the plot is ponderous and predictable. It's rubbish.

mamafraise · 01/11/2007 23:15

I've missed loads and just tuned in to see Jordan is preggers. Who's the daddy?

Ilovenutella · 02/11/2007 17:46

Wow to this thread - am watching it late on C4 and have not reached these episodes - am enjoying it massively though........ Think it's sharp and much prefer this humour to some other US sh*t we get.......

OliviaMumsnet · 02/11/2007 17:58

When/what time is it on Channel4 please?
We missed one (v important one where we find out hte glamourous Jordan is up the duff)
I do quite enjoy it though it's not a PATCH on WW.

Was very overexcited to borrow an "extras" DVD from my bro's 7 season box set with loads of special features.
(We bought them season by season so never got the extras = true fan being penalised for liking the show!! )
