Is anyone watching?
I wasn't expecting to be a sobbing mess tonight.
So, so, so awful 😢

Those were very powerful and moving interviews, from people who had lost someone to Covid. In a way I didn't want to watch, but once the programme began I felt I had to see it through to the end. It was a nice way for people to pay tribute to their loved ones.
What a sad time this has been, for so many people. Let's hope we turn a corner soon, this is just such a grim time.

They were all so brave for sharing their stories, the least that I could do was to listen to them. Was a blubbering mess though.

I found this really moving as well. I cried through a lot of the stories. It is all just so so sad

It was so heartbreaking. The parents who lost the young boy just set me off and I couldn't stop 😢😢

My mum was on this programme tonight talking about my grandad.
I haven’t watched it yet, I can’t bring myself to.
We’re all heartbroken

Pebbledashery · 26/01/2021 22:05

@GiBlues I'm so sorry 😢😢

This was heartbreaking, really puts things into perspective. All such sad stories, the girl who lost her husband really got to me. So sorry GI Blues Flowers.

TheUnquestionedAnswer · 26/01/2021 23:11

I saw it. So moving, cried too. @GiBlues sorry for your terrible loss.

GiBlues · 27/01/2021 15:36

Thank you, I watched the program this morning and cried, not just for our loss but but for every single family and friend that is going through this awful time too

Defenbaker · 27/01/2021 18:41

@GiBlues I'm so sorry for your loss. I thought the programme was very thoughtfully done, and was a nice way for families to pay tribute to their loved ones. Your mother was brave to take part, it can't have been easy.
