Blown Away

Has anyone watched this - a show about glassblowing. It's fascinating what they can do with the stuff. This is the second series, on Netflix.

I loved the first series so much.will get on to the second soon.
I follow the first winner on Instagram and they make such fun items.

I really enjoyed Blown Away but didnt agree with the winner last season , thought the runner up was so much better and would buy one of his vases if i could afford it
I started the 2nd series last night. What i find annoying is it is a bit too "political" and also the need for everyone to say "i should win because I'm so much better than everyone else" all the time!

I really like the actual blowing etc but yeah, the interviews are getting really frustrating and so unnecessary. It was funny to see no social distancing too! But filming finished in Feb 2020 so they just got away with it!

We watched the first couple last night. So fascinating. The piece with the incredibly detailed organs and then that feather on the top was incredible.

It’s incredible, so fun to watch! Like the short episodes too.

Would also recommend The Great Pottery Throwdown on C4 if you’re not watching it.

The Great Pottery Throwdown is lovely and it shows the difference between the US/Canadian shows. .The constestants dont need to be shown doing the Big I Am.

Yes, I think the producers probably want the 'I'm sooooo fantastic' speeches for the US audiences who seem to like that.

The 'overcoming an obstacle' episode annoyed me no end (no spoilers).

Project runway and Next in fashion are brilliant too

I love this show. It's fabulous and I really enjoyed the last season too. I was happier with the winner this time.

Pretty sure we wouldn't call it that over here...

@burfordbrown - oh I agree 'glory hole' is funny. We Finbar Saunders giggle every time they say it . The 'no spoilers' was to a PP who said they were happy with this season's winner.
