Apologies if there is another thread already, I can't find one.
Wasn't the ending odd? I thought our telly had broken, or that E4 had messed it up at first.
Can't believe there won't be any more EVER!

I think the RIP was for the series

I've been reading some of the websites and articles about the ending
Some are positive he was hit and others think that David Chase just closed the book -
the only certain "what if" was the pending court case.

I really really wanted Carmella to discover that Adriana was whacked. I think it would have been great for the domestic world and gangster, murderous world to have collided, after they d been in parallel for so long. Would she have just driven it from her mind? Was it justified by fact Ade was an FBI informer? Could she have lived with Tony? I think that would have brought all the themes together.

RIP .. it came up at end of title credits

dullwitch..dont you think carmella knew inside that something had 'happended' to ade?
it never seemed to go away, like a nagging doubt..
her mother was mentioned, seen alot etc..
the gangster / domestic world did collide alot with meadows boyfriend's capers and his death..

and if ade was known to have talked carmella et al would have shunned her as was done to others before

they have to ignore what the menfolk are doing, i thought this was explained well in goodfellas..but was covered earlier series i guess..the preist thing
