Hi folks. New thread for next week.

I’m thinking that Badger could be Ronan Keating. (Apologies if I am going over old territory here as I have only looked at this thread and not previous ones.)

I appreciate that Badger's first appearance singing Feeling Good didn’t sound so much like him but I think there may have been an attempt to mislead with the song choice and a knowingly ‘transatlanticised’ voice. Certainly his last outing singing Because of You sounds more Ronanesque, particularly about one minute in on the Masked Singer youtube video of his performance.

Clues?

He wrote poetry when he was young. (Apparently Ne-yo did too, just to muddy the waters!) He is very fond of motorbikes. He has a definite Australian connection as hinted at by the bush hat. There is apparently a badger-centred funny story about Ronan too.

He’s appeared on an Irish show called Anonymous wearing a disguise. He also has to get up early for his radio show. He moved home, out into the countryside, and has been involved in putting together furniture quite recently according to social media. Also appeared on a Children in Need’s Strictly special. He did a bit of hoofing, although I guess he’s not known for it….

And that’s about it for my cyber-sleuthing!

Makes sense from clues but Ronan has quite a distinctive voice I think?

TastyTicklemore · 30/01/2021 18:41

Just checking in for this evening's double reveal...

Quartz2208 · 30/01/2021 18:50

Yes I am very excited (not much going on in my life at the moment so Masked Singer is a highlight!)

Piggywaspushed · 30/01/2021 18:52

Just checking in...

Caaarrrl · 30/01/2021 18:55

Who do we reckon - Blob going out tonight with Alan Carr guessing him and then maybe Dragon or Harlequin.

Reckon Badger and Robin are definitely through I reckon

Imbehindthemask · 30/01/2021 19:00

I think Dragon is a definite to go, then possibly Badger or Blob.

IEat · 30/01/2021 19:00

Badger could be the man from Bodger and Badger, 80s kids telly
Sausage is DEFINITELY Sheridan Smith

PippaParsnip · 30/01/2021 19:03

Evening all

Sunbird24 · 30/01/2021 19:03

Evening all!

KenAdams · 30/01/2021 19:04

So as well as apparently wrongly thinking Blob was Romesh Ranganathan, the other person I thought it was was...Jack Whitehall Grin. I'm not very good at this...

PippaParsnip · 30/01/2021 19:04

I'd like to see Blob go as just far too obvious. And dragon. For some reason I don't take to dragon

I did call John correctly last week so I'm hoping for another victory Grin

Elderflower14 · 30/01/2021 19:04

I'm getting the absolute rage seeing that absolute bellend Ora.... Australia are welcome to her!

wowfudge · 30/01/2021 19:05

Davina appears to have forgotten to put her dress on.

KenAdams · 30/01/2021 19:05

Waaa Sausage just said they call me Stacey! Which SS is it?!

Quartz2208 · 30/01/2021 19:05

Yeah I agree Badger did sound like NeYo then!

TheSpottedZebra · 30/01/2021 19:05

Sausage singing the 'They call me Stacey' line there...

BLUFF! (?)

Piggywaspushed · 30/01/2021 19:06

I like Alan Carr but why he is here??

PuckyMup · 30/01/2021 19:06

Tonight’s song 😂

RachelGreep87 · 30/01/2021 19:06

Wow they really picked that song just for the "They call me Stacey" line

TheSpottedZebra · 30/01/2021 19:06

See, I think Badger sounded English there. I still say KFG.

PippaParsnip · 30/01/2021 19:07

I like Alan too. He's fun. The rest of the panel I can take or leave. Just boring. Mo seems alright though

excelledyourself · 30/01/2021 19:07

Joining please!

NoisyBrain · 30/01/2021 19:08

Evening all. Will be dipping in and out as I'm cooking dinner tonight (a rare event!).
