Late to this fascinating thread, but....
Morten was my favourite back in the day, but Magne has aged very well indeed and I have had many moments of having to fan myself. He's also much better at communicating with the audience than Morten.
We saw A-ha in concert in the 80s and I'll never forget Mags doing his party piece of riding across the stage on a skateboard - on his hands! I could never stay on a skateboard standing on it the conventional way!
One big glaring issue that I'm surprised nobody has mentioned wrt Sausage being Stacey Solomon (and it isn't her - it's Sheridan): sausages are made of pork and Stacey is Jewish. I know she isn't the most devoutly religious Jew out there, but it would still seem in rather poor taste (no pun intended) to specifically give her that costume out of all of them available.
Incidentally, the questions earlier about the firm who made the Dragon costume and whether or not they'd let the dragon cat out of the bag: do they not have them all made in the same place by the same people/company?
I also wonder if they get the costumes first and then assign them at random to the celebrities as they're signed up, or if they get them made up only once they know who is going to be wearing it? Some of them are quite close-fitting and tailored (like Sophie EB's) but others (like Blob) would surely fit just about anybody, wouldn't they?
Also, do the celebs get to choose - either which of the ones that have been chosen by the production team and are offered or can they just name whatever costume they wish? Given the cost and intricacy of the costumes, plus the fact that they don't get very much wear over their 'lifetime', I'd be amazed if the different countries that have their own versions of the show don't share them all around - unless shipping costs were prohibitive, maybe?!
