Most of my favourites have already been mentioned - the Queen's Gambit is probably the best thing I have watched for a while.

I also liked Orange is the new Black.

If you like true crime documentaries Making a Murderer is also good, there are loads of those types of programme on there.

Crash Landing on You - wonderful Korean drama.

Peaky Blinders if you haven't already watched it

I liked Virgin River
Docs there's a short one on 2020 which was amusing and David Attenborough one which I enjoyed.

If you like documentaries then ‘Making A Murderer’ should suit you.

LadyInParis · 23/01/2021 22:22

Lupin- watched it in one go it’s amazing

bert3400 · 23/01/2021 22:26

After Life...is absolutely amazing, I'm jealous that you will watch it for the first time . Series 1 first Obvs . Its so brilliant

MooseFlake · 23/01/2021 22:32

If you like true crime documentaries watch Don't F&**k with Cats.

It's bloody brilliant. We were gripped.

I'd also highly recommend Mindhunters if you can cope with really gruesome serial killer stuff. Gutted it ended after 2 seasons.

As for good Netflix films - I really enjoyed Birdbox

londongirl12 · 23/01/2021 22:36

Designated Survivor

mummytolittledragons · 23/01/2021 22:38

My children watch horrid Henry .
The grownups don't bother , doesn't seem to be much worth watching on it.

pandora206 · 23/01/2021 22:42

Babies is an amazing documentary series particularly if you're a parent or interested in children's development.

Rate things 👍🏼 and 👎🏼 that helps with suggestions.
You can also search documentaries or an actors name or feel good films. That might help you.

Stranger things
Orange is the new black
On my block
Dear white people
The crown
The good place
Breaking bad
The crown

Basically browse through the Netflix originals section and enjoy.

I agree.... your sins will always catch up with you when you are a vile human being...

bevelino · 25/01/2021 22:06

Lupin is highly watchable.

Rebecca
Wanted
Miss Fisher Investigates

The English Game

A couple of documentaries whose names escape me, found by DH and DS, that I happened to get sucked into:

something about formula 1
Something about competitive Rubik cubers

gretagreengrapes · 27/01/2021 15:22

Another vote for Unorthodox. I liked its just a few episodes long, doesn't feel like a mammoth task to be able to watch it all which puts me off loads of things.

Has anyone mentioned Outlander? It's amazing, and fits a lot of your criteria 😁

Is it on Netflix? I thought it was on Prime.
